Delete your GarageLife account

You can delete your GarageLife account and the personal information stored with it from the website or the GarageLife app.

How to delete your account

On the website:

  1. Sign in at garagelife.co.uk.
  2. Open My account and go to Delete account.
  3. If you use a password, enter it and type DELETE. If you signed in with Google, type DELETE. Then choose Delete my account.

In the GarageLife app:

  1. Open the Account tab and sign in.
  2. Under Danger zone, choose Delete account and confirm.
  3. If the account has a password, enter it when asked.

Delete my account

If you cannot sign in, email help@garagelife.co.uk from the address on the account and ask us to delete the account and the data stored with it. Include the email address you used to register.

What we delete

Deletion removes:

  • Your name, email address, password, plan, and marketing choice
  • Your garage, including registrations, photos, documents, service history, and costs
  • Quote requests, feedback sent from the account, and event reminders
  • Weekly-email signups for that address, and send logs that contain the address

What we keep

  • An event you submitted stays published, without your name.
  • A vendor or creator page you claimed stays up as a public listing and is unlinked from your account. If that listing’s contact email is your account email, we clear the address.
  • An enquiry you sent stays with that vendor so they can see what was asked. We remove your email and vehicle from it. A message we already emailed can remain in their inbox.
  • Server logs stay for as long as our host retains them. Card details stay with Stripe, not on GarageLife.
